How to upgrade your Map Toolbox:
- Have an USB key;
- Launch the Map Toolbox file (by double-clicking on the .exe file);
- Identify your vehicle : either with the VIN number, or with the fingerprint (USB key);
- Download the map on your USB;
- Now, plug the USB in your vehicle.
The update will launch by itself and a message will appear as soon as the update is done.

2 options: through the VIN* number or through the fingerprint of your vehicle
- VIN Number: read the VIN directly on your registration documents
- or on the vehicle Fingerprint:
- Get into your vehicle with a USB key (format FAT32, minimal capacity of 20 GB and a maximal capacity of 64 GB)
- Insert the USB key and wait at least 1 minute.
- Even if nothing appears on your screen, your USB key is in the process of recovering your system's configuration information.
- When 10 seconds has passed, you can remove the key.
*Vehicle Identification Number
- On your computer (min 40 Go free space required), launch the Map Toolbox and insert the USB key you used earlier. The Map Toolbox will automatically detect if an update is available based on your vehicle's information.
- If updates are available, please download them all out.

Download the updates onto your USB key from your computer.
Note: download times may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
- Do not interrupt the process before the download is complete.
- Once the download is complete, make sure you remove your USB key from your computer correctly.
- Return to your vehicle with the USB key, start the engine.
- Insert the USB key containing the updates into your vehicle's USB port. The update will appear on the screen. Click OK to start the operation. Depending on the size of the card, this may take a few minutes.
- Do not switch off the engine during the operation or remove the USB key. However, you can start driving. Navigation will be available once the update is complete.
- A message on the screen will confirm that the installation is complete. Wait until the message appears. You will then be able to take advantage of the new maps.
