Waiver – Usage of photo and / or video shared on social media

You have shared a photo or video or other content (referred to below as “User Content”) on social media. Renault Trucks wishes to use the User Content communication and marketing purposes (and particularly on our websites). 

When you answer our invitation to share your User Content with the hashtag #YESRENAULTTRUCKS, you agree that Renault Trucks use your User Content in accordance with the conditions stated below:

• You grant to Renault Trucks the right, to represent, reproduce, adapt and, more generally, to distribute and use your User Content posted on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter  as well as your social media handle, social media ID, profile picture, captions and location information that you may have inserted into your content ("User Content")
• Renault Trucks does not offer any compensation for use of the User Content.
• Renault Trucks has permission to use the User Content in both printed and digital formats, including publication on Renault Trucks website or in other digital channels. 
• If your post contains a commitment or testimonial in favor of our products and services, you further acknowledge that it is a sincere and true expression of your honest belief based on the use of Renault Trucks products, and that you have made public any free product receipt or incentive in exchange for your posting. 
• You confirm and acknowledge that: (i) you are the owner of all the rights attached to the User Content and / or that any person benefiting from any intellectual property rights or personality rights attached to the User Content has authorized you to grant the rights referred to herein; that (ii) Renault Trucks’ use of your User Content will not violate any law or violate any rights of third parties. Renault Trucks is entitled to disclose your identity to any third party claiming that User Content infringes its rights; and that (iii) you own the permissions relating to the image rights of the persons appearing in the photos. 
• Renault Trucks has the right to use the User Content during 5 years. After this time period the right of use will be renewed by tacit agreement for 1 year. Any party can terminate the present consent. From the date of the consent withdrawal Renault Trucks will stop using the Image Material for new documents publication. A reasonable delay is needed for administrative reason to withdraw the User Content from the database.  Any publication of any kind which contains the User Content before the withdrawal’s date will still be used. 

This waiver is governed by French law and any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of  the Court of Lyon.

The termination shall be adressed by e-mail (contact_comj@renault-trucks.com) or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt at the present address: Service Juridique, 99 Route de Lyon, Boîte TER A60 2 10, 69806 Saint Priest CEDEX, France.

You hereby approve having been informed in accordance to the regulation (6th january 1978 law and GDPR) that you have a right of access and a right to request rectification of personnal data communicated to Renault Trucks. The exercice of these rights shall be done online or by mail (- AB Volvo - Att : Group Privacy Office, Dept AA14100, VGHQ, - SE-405 08 Göteborg, Suède).

The terms of this Assignment of Rights may be updated by Renault Trucks from time to time: please check them each time Renault Trucks uses your User Content, before giving your permission. 

You hereby approve that Renault Trucks may use the photographs and/or videos of me as per the above terms and conditions and for the above purposes.
