RENAULT TRUCKS LCV FLEXIBLE SUBSCRIPTION PILOT

Renault Trucks has announced a new initiative through Renault Trucks Financial Services that is set to reimagine the traditional LCV financing models.  LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks, initially launched as a six month pilot, offers an all-inclusive flexible subscription on a selection of Renault Trucks Master vehicles including the new Red EDITION range.  

Available in a variety of contract lengths, starting from just one month, LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks will initially focus on vehicles from the all-electric Renault Trucks Master Z.E. range.

Commenting on the pioneering scheme, Grahame Neagus, Head of LCV, Renault Trucks UK & Ireland says: “LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks is a transformative vehicle subscription model that allows operators to utilise vehicles on a short term, flexible basis to help with periods of high demand. We are putting the Red EDITION Master Z.E. at the heart of this offer, which includes specialist vehicles from our Ready for Business range such as minibuses and MEWPs.

Operating on the Wagonex platform, LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks is an all-inclusive flexible solution with an option for insurance. Automated company and personal checks are carried out to verify eligibility, while costs comprise of a membership fee, refundable deposit (dependent on vehicle size) and monthly payment which has the option to include insurance.  When the flexible contract is coming to an end, the vehicle may be returned or switched to another model. 

Grahame Neagus continues: “Initial feedback from customers has been extremely encouraging, we fully expect the pilot to be oversubscribed. LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks has the potential to accelerate the future uptake of electric commercial vehicles, as well as empowering more customers to try the right assets before they switch to electric.”

Renault Trucks Commercials dealer points around London, including Chiltern and Essex, are driving the LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks pilot scheme, and are fully equipped to carry out diagnostics and repairs on the latest generation of 100% electric Master Z.E.vehicles.

Grahame Neagus adds: “With the introduction of the ULEZ, London is the ideal test location for LCV Subscriptions by Renault Trucks as more operators delivering within the zone are looking at electric vehicles.  As Renault Trucks looks to roll out the scheme in 2020, we expect strong demand from cities across the UK and Ireland.”
