Renault Trucks debuts at The Commercial Motor Show, a virtual exhibition taking place 29 September to 1 October 2020, showcasing its 100% electric Z.E. line-up from 3.1 to 26 tonnes, as well as its fuel-efficient and environmentally-friendly Range T Fuel

Natalie Rawlings, Dealer and Event Marketing Manager comments: “This year we have had our first experiences of virtual exhibitions and, whilst it’s obviously different to traditional event management, we are enthused by Commercial Motor’s determination to replicate the show experience for customers.  With visitors in control of their journey to different stands and exhibition areas without the need for social distancing, the Commercial Motor Show is an exciting new concept for the industry. We’re confident that we will be able to have some quality discussions with customers and prospects on our virtual stand whilst displaying our latest products and service offering.”

Electromobility is the cornerstone of Renault Trucks’ strategy for sustainable urban transport and visitors to the Commercial Motor Show will be able to view its all-electric Z.E. line-up from 3.1 to 26 tonne.  Renault Trucks’ battery performance promise, which guarantees the power available to operate electric vehicles for up to ten years, underpins its expertise and confidence in its products and capabilities.

“Ten years ago, we were pioneers in electromobility; today we are experts.  As society’s environment consciousness grows and we move towards a net zero carbon economy, Renault Trucks’ electric vehicles are improving air quality, reducing carbon emissions and enabling low-noise out of hours deliveries to reduce congestion.  Working with key bodybuilder and specialist infrastructure partners, our turnkey solutions make the transition to electromobility as easy as possible, tailoring vehicles to customers’ applications, harnessing the developments in automation and connectivity and using vehicle data to improve vehicle operation and customer service” explains Natalie.

Also creating a virtual buzz on the Renault Trucks stand will be the Range T Fuel Eco, featuring the latest fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly DTI 11 and DTI 13 Euro 6 Step D engines, powered by diesel or HVO. “It’s a first-class option for looking after running costs, drivers and the planet and it’s a genuine alternative fleet partner” enthuses Natalie.

Also making an appearance is the Renault Trucks Master Red Edition. Available in van, minibus and chassis cab and diesel or fully electric Z.E., with the choice of either single or twin rear wheel drive over either medium or long wheelbases and a range of roof heights, the efficient Renault Trucks Master is an ideal partner, suitable for a wide range of applications.

Meeting the demands of operators with an immediate need for a bodied vehicle, Renault Trucks’ pre-bodied Ready for Business Range will include mixers, tippers, hook loaders, sweepers, and other models available either from stock or on short lead times, saving time, money and fuss. Developed in partnership with leading bodybuilders, the Ready for Business range offers capability and versatility to a wide variety of operators.

As well as viewing the latest vehicles, visitors can “chat” about the Renault Trucks dealer network and finance packages. With a network of 71 strategically-located dealers across the UK and Ireland, Renault Trucks offers out-of-hours servicing, excellent parts availability and a team that will maintain vehicles to the highest standards. There will also be information about Renault Trucks Financial Services, customised finance and insurance solutions for Renault Trucks and LCVs, from a single unit to an entire fleet, new and used.

“It’s a challenging time for many industries but the Commercial Motor Show is an innovative way of communicating with existing and potential customers and exhibiting the products and services we have on offer in a safe environment. We look forward to seeing you there!” concludes Natalie.
