RENAULT TRUCKS UK AND IRELAND ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM

Renault Trucks UK and Ireland has announced a series of appointments to form the new management team that will support incoming Managing Director, Carlos Rodrigues, in the implementation of the company’s strategy and management and are effective as of 1st
These appointments follow the decision to separate the Volvo Group Market Company organisation into separate Renault Trucks and Volvo Trucks businesses within the UK & Irish, Belgian, Italian and French markets to allow for greater brand dedication.
James Charnock comes in as Commercial Trucks & Services Director, a role with responsibility for new MHD and Light Commercial Vehicles sales as well as market intelligence and sales engineering. He brings with him a vast wealth of experience, having previously held the role of Used Truck Director for the Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks brands over the past 4 years and restarted the Roadcrew parts brand.
Angela Duerden takes on the role of CFO, Business Support Director. She has held several senior roles within the Volvo Group UK, most recently as Head of Contracts and Warranty.
Peter Tye joins as Used Truck Director from ATS Euromaster, where he has held senior leadership roles over the last six years, most recently Business Support Director, and previously Group Operations Director – Retail. Peter’s extensive automotive experience includes Goodyear Dunlop and Volkswagen Group.
Angie Morgan is appointed HR and Competence Development Director. Angie was previously HR Business Partner supporting Volvo Financial Services and the staff support functions of ACC, IT, HR Services & Real Estate, with a specific focus on competence development and driving the employee experience.
Derek Leech takes on the role of Service Market and Retail Development Director. After 16 years working for Volvo Trucks dealer, Billows, Derek joined Renault Trucks UK & Ireland in 2011, taking on his previous role of Aftermarket Sales Director in 2015.
Alex Williams is appointed Head of Brand & Communications. A Business Management graduate, Alex first joined the Volvo Group in 2009, holding roles in Used Trucks and Marketing, and took on the position of Marketing Manager, Renault Trucks UK in 2016.

In the UK, both Renault Trucks and Volvo brands will continue to be headquartered in Warwick.
