OPTIVISION MAP BASED
This option uses topographical data. Data transmission to the on-board computer is automatic and continuous throughout the journey, before starting each new incline ➊, ➋, ➌ and for driving downhill ➍, ➎. The gear shift, acceleration and speed strategies are optimised, which further reduces fuel consumption.
Optivision +
With the Optivision + function, cruise control takes into account the topography of the terrain, speed limits and the road configuration (bends, roundabouts, etc), enabling optimum use of the vehicle's inertia to the benefit of fuel consumption.
The "Optivision +" system anticipates terrain and bends to adapt acceleration, gearshift strategies and vehicle speed for more efficient driving.
